With the summer holidays in full swing and plenty of folk off on their travels, we still had 12 bikes heading out for Glentrool yesterday for another cracking Clyde Valley HOG ride out.

A couple of wee showers along the way, but nothing major and certainly not enough to spoil the day. Great roads, lovely scenery and plenty of quiet stretches to enjoy, with a few of the group visiting Glentrool for the first time.

A big thanks to Davie for planning a great route and taking the lead, and to Karen and Tommy for keeping things running smoothly. Apparently it was the “easiest shift ever”
The run home had one final hazard thrown in for good measure… an overhanging branch that nearly collected a few riders on the way past! A quick duck and some questionable ninja reflexes were required to make it home with everyone’s heads intact!
All in all, a great day on the bikes – good roads, fantastic scenery and, as always, great company.
Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it another treemendous day out with CVH!

- Moffat RumbleOn Saturday, we kicked off the riding season with an overnight trip to the Buccleuch Arms in Moffat, attracting nearly 40 Harleys and over 50 members. Despite changing weather, we arrived safely and enjoyed the hotel’s amenities. The night was filled with laughs and mischief, marking a successful start to the season. It was great too, to have both old and new members along for the fun.
